The David Brown model 25 and 950 were manufactured in 1950’s, models 850, 880, 990, 770, 780, 1200 and 3800 in the 1960’s, while the 1970’s produced the 885, 995, 1210, and the 1212. Other models produced were the 895, 1390 and the 1490. Parts are available for most of these tractors.

Typically, all the David Brown tractors engines are between 9 hp to 99 hp. The most popular David Brown tractor engines are the AD3/49A, AD3/55, AD3/55A, AD4/47, AD4/49, AD4/55, and the turbocharged late engines, AD4/55T, and the 6 cylinder engine AD6/55 and turbocharged AD6/55T.

Allis Chalmers Parts – Clutch.
The D17 clutch will have clutch release bearings, pressure plates (different types depending on the serial number of the tractor), and transmission discs which also will be selected depending on the serial number of the tractor.

The D17 is a 2WD (two wheel drive) tractor, with power from its larger rear wheels. The front axle is therefore relatively simple. Wheel bearing kits, cones, hubs, and spindles are readily available.

Hitch and Drawbar Parts
The drawbar for the D17 is 2.5” wide, 1.25” thick, and 50.5” long. This drawbar also fits the 170, 175, 180, and the 185.

Ignition and Electrical Parts
The D17 gas engine parts will include distrubrutor cap, condensers, ammeters, points, spark plug wire sets, and DC generators. The diesel engine will have starters, starter drives and voltage regulators.

Mufflers
